RIZVAL started in 2023 in a Paris apartment, with two friends who had known each other since their studies: Lucas, a data engineer who loved building predictive models, and Anthony, a sports-obsessed analyst who pored over the stats of every match. The spark came one evening when Lucas showed Anthony a homemade spreadsheet that predicted Ligue 1 results better than most online tipsters, by combining team form, head-to-head statistics and odds movements.

From that spreadsheet, RIZVAL was born: the conviction that a serious prediction is first and foremost a data problem handled well, not a Sunday-evening gut feeling. The team spent the first year building and refining its statistical models internally before opening the site to the public.
